INGREDIENTS
For Meatballs:
- 1 lb. Hamburger (I use 94% fat free)
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 bunch chopped coriander
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tap cumin
- 1.5 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For Sauce:
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tbsp cumin
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/4 tbsp black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp ras al hanout
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 14 oz can of tomatoes in purée
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix all meatballs ingredients
- For sauce: In a wide pot sautéed the onion until golden.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook for 10 minutes on low heat until thickened.
- Add meatballs and cook, covered, for 20-25 minutes.
